Personal site - One day Prague tour

At times, some of our clients arrive early in the morning into Prague and have to continue onto another destination later on that day. It only makes sense that they want to see at least the hightlights of the city.

Your professional, English speaking guide will meet you as you come out of customs and takes you via public transportation or the vehicle oyour choice into the city. First you visit the Prague Castle area. This area was first settled already during the Bronze Age, however, the first documented dwellings were built here in the 9th century. It was the home of our kings and queens for many years. Now it houses the office of the president of the Czech Republic, several museums, the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Palace and more. We will walk through this "Hradčany” district viewing the Loreta, the Archbishops Palace and other interesting areas along the way to the castle. There you visit part of the St. Vitus Cathedral, walk along the 3 courtyards and admire the architectural marvel that our ancestors created. Then you walk down through the Little Quarter (erroneously called the Lesser Quarter in some literature), if you are interested, we take you to visit the Infant Jesus of Prague. Then walk over the Charles Bridge via the coronation route to the Old Town Square, view the Astronomical Clock, go up the Old Town Square Tower for a magnificent view (elevator) and end on Wenceslas Square, the new part of town, "only" 600 years old.

Then your guide takes you back to the airport via public transportation or the vehicle of your choice again. Should you have more time, your guide will show you how to get back to the airport via public transportation on your own, suggesting the right time or set up your departure transfer.

Please note, since we will be sending you a guide (and vehicle if chosen) to the airport to your flight, this tour needs to be prepaid in full and is non-refundable, should your flight be delayed or changed. If your flight is changed, just call us and if possible, we will reschedule your tour.

Duration: up to 8 hours, however should you have less time, your tour can be adjusted individually. You should have at least 8 hours between arrival into Prague and the departure of your continuing flight.
